                                                     AGM

We would like to thank everybody who attended the JAC AGM held on Monday 9th November at Woosehill Community Church.

The JAC team would like to say a huge thank you to Woosehill Community Church for allowing us to use their wonderful facilities and especially to the ‘hot chocolate team’ who not only served hot drinks but worked tirelessly throughout the evening.

This event was well attended and enjoyed by everybody. After the short formality of the accounts, people were invited to visit each table representing a different working area of JAC where they could ask questions of the various teams. All this, whilst enjoying the wonderful home made soup and cakes provided by Just in the Park Café.

During the meeting Sam Milligan shared the vision for Rehoboth (complete with visual aid – see below), and how he sees JAC moving forward. Rehoboth will be a place where the horse therapy work can be expanded and other projects can take place such as an area where fruit and vegetables can be grown. A retreat where families could come and have time together outside of their normal environment is also a project Sam would like to pioneer but the most important aspect is Rehoboth is to be a place where we can give young people an opportunity to get involved.

This is our vision – now we need a place! Can YOU help us bring Rehoboth about?

We know God is moving in this area of JAC as we have seen some breakthroughs so watch this space!

Rehoboth

                                                    Welcome

SUE STEVENSON who joined us at the beginning of September  as   our Office Manager. Sue comes to us after a career as a PA punctuated by work as an IT trainer although her last job was in the leisure industry where she was a fitness trainer. After a month of working in the JAC office Sue still claims she is loving every minute of it and she wants to thank everyone who has given help and support which has helped make her feel so welcome

Farewell

After 4.5 years as a Youth Worker with JAC, LOIC is leaving to seek new opportunities. He has become a familiar face with many of the young people locally and has been a great asset to the JAC team. Loic will be greatly missed. However, we wish him all the best as he ventures out into this new phase of his life and pray that he will know God’s presence as he seeks His will.
