First Days welcomes local mP, Rob wilson

First Days, the children's charity based in Woodley, recently welcomed Rob Wilson, MP to look around their new headquarters.  A father of four, Rob Wilson, was impressed and keen to help the fledgling charity spread its wings and help more families in the local area.  First Days was set up in 2013 and has already helped more than 250 local families.  Mr Wilson is keen to make more people aware of the great work this charity is doing.

First Days and local MP"This really is a fantastic charity that is definitely going places.   They have identified a genuine need in the local area, with many parents not being able to afford all of the new equipment required when starting a family.  One of the things I have noticed is that a lot of baby equipment and baby clothes, just don't get used, so this is a great idea to help local families. I will do what I can to raise awareness of this charity."

First Days has been in the new headquarters since February and are looking for local volunteers who would be willing to work for an hour a week, or a day a week, helping with sorting out the donated items and delivering much needed baby equipment and goods.
